Role : Sr. Principal DBA - Oracle

 

Skill                   :  Oracle DBA

Work Location    :  Bangalore

Responsibilities :

§  Leverages breadth and depth of database administration expertise.

§  Focuses on software aspects of databases to optimize performance, capacity, and service delivery.

§  Conducts Data modeling and Oracle database design.

§  Predicts future Oracle trends for hardware usage and user load.

§  Works within the framework of established operating procedures and in close cooperation with support personnel to provide troubleshooting and maintenance of databases.

§  Works with little or no hand holding on client facing projects.

§  Global travel for medium to long term.

 

Pre-Requisites :

§  Engineer / Post Graduate with 6 - 10 years of overall  work experience, with 4+ years as an Oracle DBA in a UNIX or Linux environment.

§  Develop, review and enforce database standards.

§  Strong experience in Backup and Recovery of large databases.

§  Expertise in Oracle database performance tuning and troubleshooting.

§  Expertise in Production Oracle 10g/11g environments including RAC, ASM, PL/SQL, OEM, RMAN, Data Guard, Golden Gate.

§  Working knowledge in Oracle Advanced security tools like Oracle Database Vault

§  Working knowledge in Oracle Auditing tools like Oracle Audit Vault

§  Good communication and also should have the ability to write or converse with the application/help desk staff in clear terms.

§  ITIL Process Framework Knowledge.

 

Role : Sr. Principal Web Logic Administrator

 

Skill                   :  Web Logic

Work Location    :  Bangalore

Responsibilities :

§  Administer, monitor and maintain Web Logic application servers.

§  Prioritize problem fixes effectively based on business impact, risk, urgency, and level of effort.

§  Resolve production issue, determine root cause and business impact & propose long term prevention.

§  Monitor and maintain infrastructure onsite as well as service provider sites.

§  Automate monitoring and maintenance tasks using various scripting languages including shell, perl.

§  Works independently on client facing projects.

§  Global travel for medium to long term.

 

Pre-Requisites :

§  Engineer / Post Graduate with 6 - 10 years of overall  work experience, with 4+ years as a Web Logic Administrator.

§  Experience in Installing/Administering/tuning/upgrading Web logic 8.x (and above) application servers in Linux/Solaris environments.

§  Experience in configuring WebLogic server instances into Web Logic clusters for high availability.

§  Experience in performance tuning at Web Logic domain level and OS level including , Connection Pools, heap dumps, thread dumps, JDBC and JMS subsystems.

§  Thorough knowledge of database technologies including Oracle RAC, LDAP, SQL.

§  Excellent knowledge and expertise in J2EE technologies like JDBC, RMI, JMS, JNDI and JTA

§  Strong analytical thinking & problem solving skills.

§  ITIL Process Framework Knowledge.

§  Knowledge on SOA suite will be an advantage.

 

Role : Sr. Principal Consultant - OS Specialist                                                            

 

Skill                    :  Linux  / IBM AIX / Solaris Operating System Administrator

Work Location    :   Bangalore

Responsibilities  :

§  Provides overall support and maintenance of Linux  / IBM AIX / Solaris operating systems.

§  Configure Hardware Management Console.

§  Implement system management / monitor systems.

§  Install, configure and test Power HA version 5.4.1 on Virtual Clients.

§  Configure and implement Power VM LPM (Live Partition Mobility)

§  Design procedures to ensure data integrity including system fail-over and backup / recovery.

§  Conduct periodic hardware and software audits of AIX servers & achieve almost zero non-compliance scores.

§  Maintains current operating systems, PTF levels, and patch versions that comply with vendor requirements.

§  Conduct R&D of new products & make recommendations for future upgrades.

§  Open to work in shifts.

§  Global travel for medium to long term customer engagements.

 

Pre-Requisites  :

§  BE / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech with 6 - 10 years of overall  work experience, with the last 4 years as an Operating System Administrator.

§  Expertise in Linux  / IBM AIX / Solaris Operating System.

§  Expertise in setting up / building clusters , implementing Virtualization tools & Volume management.

§  ITIL certified OS Specialist is an advantage.

§  Results oriented, energetic & self motivated.
