SAVBU Career Opportunities !

Server Access and Virtualization Business Unit (SAVBU) is focused on data center access, virtualization and Unified I/O (FCoE) products, along with rack and blade servers, to drive a unified computing architectural vision across the network and to align our go-to-market strategies. Key part of Cisco's virtualization strategy is UCS and  Nexus switch  (N5K/N2K, N3K, N4K) product line. In all products, we drive the ecosystem and standards strategy around DCE, newer Data Center technologies like L2MP & TRILL, FCoE (Unified I/O), virtualization and ultra low latency.  We drive these innovations into standard bodies such as OFED, IEEE, IETF, T11 and PCI-SIG.  SAVBU is key to Cisco's vision and strategy for the next generation data center and Cloud computing.   We are also creating management software to tie these pieces together to enable dynamic data center utilization that enables both private and service provider compute clouds.

SAVBU has been shipping products for over three years with a product revenue growth of over 100% year-over-year.  SAVBU offers the unique opportunity to help Cisco make its mark on computing industry as well as contribute to core Cisco technologies such as L2MP & TRILL and Data Center Ethernet. SAVBU Bangalore has been owning several platforms end-to-end and is on track to own and drive nextgen platform software development from Bangalore. These are exciting products/platforms that get productized completely from Bangalore.

Working alongside talented engineers in a startup environment, new hires would become integral members of a team that would deliver next generation access/aggregation switches and Cisco new advanced data center platform product line.
