We are looking for Assistant Managers / Deputy Manager / Managers for Designs division, to be based at Chennai / Hyderabad / Mumbai.

The incumbent should be a self motivated and self driven team leader who can lead a team of engineers and draughtsmen. The job involves design of Cement Plant and allied structures for Indian and International clients.

Department	Designs
Job Responsibility	Allocating designs / drafting to juniors / draughtsmen
	Providing necessary inputs to enable them to do the allocated work.
	Checking of designs prepared by juniors
	Re-checking of drawings checked by the Design Engineers
	Internal Co-ordination and participation in meetings
	Interaction with clients
	Guiding Design Engineers and draughtsmen in their assignments
	Maintaining check records
	Checking / Verification / Approval (Validation) as outlined in the Plan of Work.
	Maintaining design documents / input data till job closure
	Ensure timely completion of checking and releasing the drawings as per schedule.
	Ensure quality control and productivity
	Optimum utilization of software
	Assist Project Co-ordinator and HODs in preparing action plans and related project work
	Implementation of ISO procedures
	Plan and organize day to day work
	Site visits, if required.
	Subordinate Development (develop Design Engineers to check designs, acting as Mentor for Junior / Trainee Engineers)
	Assist Project Coordinator and Senior Manager in preparing plan of work and other reports
Qualification	B.E / B. Tech / M.E / M. Tech with specialisation in Civil / Structures
Experience	8 12 years
Skill Set	Experience in designing Industrial structures Knowledge of design of steel structures Team player and should be able to handle a team of structural engineers & draughtsmen Preferably but, not essentially, having knowledge of International Codes like US, British and Euro codes Having knowledge of Staadpro and Autocad (X-Steel) Strong in Communication
