Photoscape

This utility is a photo editor to create various photo effects, including vintage effects. You needn't worry if you don't have photoshop skills or unable to follow advanced GIMP tutorials, Photoscape, a freeware, does it all for you. You can fix and enhance photos, and among the key features are: view photos in your folder, create a slideshow, resize, adjust/correct: brightness, color, white balance, backlight and frames, mosaic mode, add text, draw pictures, crop, filters, remove red eye, batch edit multiple photos, merge multiple photos on the page frame to create one final photo, attach multiple photos to create one final photo, use multiple photos to create a final animated photo; print, split, capture screen, convert, and much more.

GooReader

GooReader, a desktop application, lets you search, download and read books and magazines publicly available on Google Books. Its neat interface makes a reading a pleasure, just like reading hardcover books or paperback magazines. Use the mouse to turn over the pages, zoom them in and out. GooReader can also help to search for books by title, author or book_ID. The search results are represented as 3D book models on a bookshelf. GooReader can also search online books by title, author or a keyword.
