HotSpot

While using an open WiFi network it would be great if we can create our own private network that runs securely on top of the WiFi network. Yes, this is possible, with HotSpot, a quick, easy and free application. Hotspot Shield creates a virtual private network (VPN) between your laptop or iPhone and its Internet gateway. A really simple indicator lets you know whether your connection is secure or not. Hotspot Shield can protect during the entire web surfing session - secures your connection at both your home Internet network & Public Internet networks (both wired and wireless). Your identity is secured during all web transactions through HTTPS - ensures your privacy online; your passwords, credit card numbers, and all of your data, is secured.

More details on Hotspot Shield, for Windows 7, XP, 2000, Vista, Mac OS X (10.4 Tiger), Mac OS X (10.5 Leopard), and Mac OS X (10.6 Snow Leopard), can be browsed at http://hotspotshield.com/
